Two and Three day Program for high school athletes

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT PERFORMANCE PROGRAMS

Our high school athletes trust Gritworks with their sport specific training programs to ensure they'll be ready to take their game to the next level. We design periodized training programs that will produce results your coaches, teammates and most importantly, YOU will notice. Whatever your goals are, Gritworks is here to help you reach your athletic potential. 


 

PROGRAM INFORMATION

We offer programs in 2, or 3/week sessions, as well as private and semi-private training. Here’s more information regarding each:

  GRIT 2 DAYS GRIT — 3 DAYS PRIVATE/SEMI-PRIVATE


Our two-day program is our most popular program for in-season or off-season athletes. You can attend Mondays and Wednesdays or Fridays

Our three-day program is for advanced athletes or those not participating in any other activity during the seasons besides GRITWOWRKS, we recommend our three-day program. Training on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Our private/semi-private programs are for in-season high school athletes looking to maintain and build upon their off-season GRIT training. The program is our optimal training package focusing exclusively on building strength and power, not including speed, agility, or conditioning. Sessions are 60 minutes each.

SUCCESS STORIES

Ever since I got to high school, I’ve lifted hard. I saw workouts and lifts that upperclassmen and other baseball players did, and I copied them. I asked for the occasional advice from trainers around the gyms and baseball facilities I used, but I didn’t understand the science or reasoning behind any of it. Predictably, this led to injury followed by months of deep tissue massage and chiropractic visits to get back to good health. It was soon after this when I started to train with Steve Anderson at Gritworks Athletics. Of course, this was before it was officially Gritworks. Every workout started with a full dynamic warmup and put an emphasis on things such as ankle stability to prevent future injury. The workouts were structured very different from what I was used to. There were supersets, complexes, circuits, and other programming that were put together in original ways I had never thought of. After a couple months of consistent lifting with Steve, I noticed increases, mostly, in my strength and speed. A couple more months passed, and all areas of my athletic abilities had been improved, from my vertical to my 60-yard dash time. All the while, I was not producing any new injuries. My time at Gritworks has given me the opportunity to accomplish much. I’ve committed to play college baseball, joined the thousand-pound club, squatted 500 lbs., got runner up in the voting for league MVP, and grown a whole lot stronger mentally. These things would not have been possible without training at Gritworks Athletics. I’ve always had a strong work ethic, but I am proof that unless you train correctly and efficiently, your full potential cannot be reached.
