My name is Nick Kennison. I was born and raised in Seattle, until I moved to Mill Valley, California before high school. I have a history of playing baseball, basketball, football, and volleyball, but my main sport was baseball. I am currently a senior at Western Washington, pursuing my degree in Communications. Before Western, I played 4 years of college baseball at 3 different institutions, (Lewis and Clark College, College of Marin, and Sonoma State University). I served as the Freshman baseball/strength and conditioning coach at Tamalpais High School in 2019. I have over 6 years of experience coaching both baseball specific skills, as well as strength and conditioning. I am super excited about the opportunity at Gritworks to work with baseball players in Whatcom County, as well as expand my training horizons beyond just baseball players. In my free time I enjoy playing on the club baseball team at WWU, snowboarding, hiking, and pretty much anything that gets me active.
